This Privacy Policy explains how Gamepad Tester, gamepedtester.com, handles information when you use this website. We built this site around the idea that testing your controller should not require handing over your data, and this policy describes exactly what that means in practice.

2. Information we collect

We collect very little information directly. The main sources are:

• Contact form and email. If you use the contact form or email us at gamepedtester@gmail.com, we receive whatever information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message.
• Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to updates, we collect the email address you provide for that purpose only.
• Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and any analytics tools in use may automatically log standard technical information such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages visited.

3. How controller test data is handled

Every diagnostic tool on this site, including button tests, stick drift readings, latency measurements, and vibration tests, runs entirely inside your browser using the Gamepad API. Those readings are processed in your browser's memory and are not transmitted to our servers as part of normal use.

If a tool offers a report export feature, the file is generated and saved directly to your own device when you click the export button. It is not uploaded to us or to any third party automatically.
